Pigmentation starts from the special cells in the skin known as ‘melanocytes’ which produce a pigment called ‘melanin’. This pigment is responsible to give our skin colour.

Pigmentation occurs when the body produces too much melanin due to sun exposure, inflammation, free radicals or due to hormonal changes, or even heredity depending on individual. These factors can trigger melanin overproduction, which is unevenly distributed in the epidermis layer of the skin, appearing as brown spots or patches on the skin.

UR Klinik has been established since 2015 to assist women in combating and preventing skin pigmentation issues. Our team of light therapists and light therapy doctors are highly dedicated to assist your pigmentation concerns through, light therapy pigmentation treatment.

660nm has lower melanin absorption than 532nm. Therefore, it is much safer than 532nm.

Furthermore, 660nm has lower oxy- and deoxy- hemoglobin absorption than 532nm.

Unlike traditional lasers, the light therapy range that we use at UR Klinik is specific to combat different pigmentation issues. Treatments are painless, no numb cream is needed. No redness and no downtime as well.
